Plastrip over the years

Plastrip CC was formed in the early 1960's producing budding strips exclusively.

The corporation has since developed into a larger business, diversifying in terms of both products and markets, as well as expanding its international trade. Plastrip currently services the agricultural, horticultural, home garden, geological and mining industries with an extensive range of products, and continues to strive to further broaden its horizons.

In April 2009, Plastrip moved into new premises in Somerset West, South Africa where most of the manufacturing is done. In October 2021, Plastrip expanded its warehouse footprint by moving into an additional building in the same complex in order to accommodate the growth of the business. In January 2024, Plastrip expanded into yet another building in the same complex to continue the business' growth journey. In addition to these facilities, Plastrip also has business partners in Asia and Europe who manufacture on its behalf.
